GENERAL CONTRACTING AT A COST PLUS BASIS:
We acquire 2 bids from vendors and sub-contractors for each major item such as excavation/plumbing/flooring/windows/drywall/etc.
Clients are shown all invoices/bids and are free to participate in the bid gathering process and chose (if they wish) which vendors and subs to use and know actual costs before markup and tax.
By comparison a general contractor provides a full retail project price with no choice by the client regarding which sub-contractors or vendors to use.
Most general contractors markup 25%-35% on every item in your project.
Our fee is based on the actual project cost.
